Privacy Policy

Effective 15 September 2026. This is the policy for brxify.com, the Brxify WordPress plugin, and the conversion API at api.brxify.com.

The short version. Convert sends Elementor JSON to our API so we can return a Bricks draft. We do not keep that JSON as a library of your sites. Payments go through Freemius as merchant of record. Images stay in your WordPress media library. Questions: support@brxify.com.

1. Who we are

Brxify is the Elementor-to-Bricks converter operated from brxify.com. For invoices, VAT, cards, PayPal, and the subscription portal, Freemius is the merchant of record. This policy covers what Brxify itself processes. Freemius publishes its own privacy policy for billing data.

2. What the product does

You install a thin WordPress plugin, connect a licence (or use 3 trial credits), export Elementor JSON, and convert on a site where Bricks is active. Conversion runs on our hosted engine. The plugin writes Bricks drafts on your WordPress site. Your live Elementor site is not modified by us.

3. Data we process

  • Account & licence. Freemius licence key (or a one-time site-trial key), plan, credit balance, and related IDs we need to allot and deduct credits. Email for billing lives with Freemius; we may store a copy on the licence row so support can find you.
  • Site metadata. Site URL, plugin version, and — on convert — page title and a coarse element count for the credit log. Used to rate-limit abuse and show you what was charged.
  • Conversion payload. The Elementor export you send: structure, settings, image URLs, kit and globals. Processed in memory to produce Bricks JSON. We do not run a permanent archive of customer payloads. Transient job data for batch convert is dropped when the job finishes or fails closed.
  • Credit log. Deduct and replenish rows — licence, approximate site URL, page title, element count, amount, time. Not the full AST.
  • Website. If you email us, we keep the thread. The marketing site is a normal Hostinger WordPress/Bricks page. Hostinger CDN and server logs may include IP address, user agent, and requested URL, including the public plugin zip.
  • Roadmap votes on the homepage. Stored in your browser (localStorage) only. We do not receive those votes unless we later ship a tally endpoint — and we would update this policy first.

4. What we do not want

  • Passwords,
    wp-config
secrets, or database dumps. Do not put them in an export.
  • Your Media Library binaries. Image files are sideloaded by your WordPress site from URLs in the JSON. They do not land on api.brxify.com as a CDN of your photos.
  • A profile of who visits your converted pages. We are not an analytics suite for your traffic.
  • Selling or renting your convert payloads to third parties.

5. Why we process it

To provide the service you asked for (convert, credits, trial, updates), to bill fairly — one credit per successful document, failures are not charged — to stop API abuse, to support you, and to meet accounting and tax duties Freemius already handles as merchant of record. If you are in a region that requires a “legal basis,” those are contract (the conversion you requested) and legitimate interests (security, fraud, product reliability).

6. Processors

  • Freemius — checkout, subscriptions, VAT invoices, affiliates, licence keys. Their checkout is where you agree to pay.
  • Hostinger — US hosting for api.brxify.com and brxify.com, plus their CDN. Dynamic API responses are not CDN-cached; the public plugin zip on the marketing site may hit origin.
  • Email — support@brxify.com on our Hostinger mailbox.

We do not use the convert payload to train a public AI model on your clients’ sites.

7. Cookies

The marketing pages do not require an account cookie. Freemius checkout and WordPress admin — your site, our plugin — set their own cookies. If you enable a cookie banner on Bricks, include Freemius checkout when you add paid buttons.

8. Retention

Licence and credit-ledger rows last as long as the account is useful for billing and support, then as long as tax and accounting requires. Convert JSON is not kept as a customer library. Server logs rotate on the host’s normal schedule. You can disconnect the plugin, which clears the licence option on that site, and email us to close a Brxify-side licence record where Freemius also shows the subscription ended.

9. Your rights

Email support@brxify.com to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to delete what is not required for Freemius or tax. For card data and invoices, use the Freemius customer portal — we never see full card numbers.

10. Children

Brxify is a professional WordPress tool. It is not directed at children under 16.

11. International

The conversion API is hosted in the United States (Hostinger). Freemius processes payments on its infrastructure. If you convert from another country, you are sending the export to those processors in order to use the product.

12. Changes

We will date a new version at the top of this page. Material changes — for example, starting to store payloads, or adding a server-side roadmap tally — will be called out here, not buried.
